Something not working, a time that looks wrong, or a question the answers below do not cover? Write to me and I will reply. Salah Time is made by one person, so it may not be the same day — but every mail is read.

The times are a few minutes off from my mosque.

Twilight angles vary between authorities and no single method is correct everywhere, so two honest calculations can disagree by several minutes. First change the calculation method in Settings to the one your mosque follows.

If a single prayer is still out, Advanced holds a per-prayer offset in minutes. That is the right tool for a mosque that adds a fixed few minutes to Isha, or begins Fajr slightly early.

The Qibla compass will not settle, or never confirms alignment.

Almost always this is compass accuracy rather than the direction itself. If the app says accuracy is low, it will not confirm alignment — that is deliberate, because a confident arrow drawn from a bad heading is worse than no arrow.

Move away from anything magnetic — a laptop, a car dashboard, a magnetic case or stand — and turn the phone through a figure of eight a few times. The compass is the phone's own; nothing the app does can improve a reading it is not being given.

I am not getting notifications.

Check that notifications are allowed for Salah Time in your phone's own Settings, then that the prayer you expected is switched on in the app's Notifications screen. Each prayer is separate, and each has its own optional reminder some minutes before.

Alerts are scheduled on the device rather than pushed from a server, so they do not need a connection — but a phone in a battery saver mode may still delay them.

Does it work without a connection?

Yes. Prayer times and the Qibla are calculated on your device from the position of the sun and the coordinates of the Kaaba, not downloaded, so both work in airplane mode and anywhere on earth.

The one thing that needs a connection is searching for a city by name. Locations you have already saved keep working offline.

Is there an account? Where does my location go?

There is no account and no sign-in. Your location and settings stay in your device's own storage and are never uploaded — there is nowhere to upload them to.

The privacy policy lists every moment the app does reach the internet, in full.

Is there a widget on Android?

Not yet. The Home Screen widget and Live Activity are iOS only at the moment. Everything else — times, Qibla, notifications, saved locations — works the same on both.

I left a reward and want a refund.

Rewards are optional and purely a thank you; nothing in the app is behind them, and every feature stays available whether or not you leave one.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google rather than by me, because the payment never passes through my hands. Request one through the store you bought it from — for Apple, reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google, the order history in Google Play.
